New Range of Service Plans Rolled Out for Fiat Cars

SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – November 27, 2009: A complete range of comprehensive service plans – which include all parts and labour costs associated with vehicle servicing, while allowing customers to spread the servicing charges – has been launched by Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

Fiat Service Plans are designed to present an easy way for owners to budget for their car servicing requirements by removing the need to pay for work in one go. Instead it allows for the cost to be spread out over a fixed term in monthly, interest-free payments.

The Plans are flexible and costs depend on how many services are required and the customer’s anticipated annual mileage. Once this information is gathered, a monthly cost can be supplied. Currently, a customer with a Fiat 500 1.2 could buy a three-year, 27,000-mile plan for less than £13 a month.

All Fiat models are eligible for Service Plans which provide an official service from Fiat-trained technicians in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, using original Fiat parts. This allows the car’s service book to be officially stamped.

As well as standard service intervals, Value Service Plans are available for low mileage users and for older (more than three years) vehicles.

The programme also offers a courtesy car or local collection/delivery service, free wash and vacuum and 10 per cent off all Fiat accessories.

“This is an excellent way to look after your Fiat the way you want it looked after, and without having to find the full cost of the service each time you book it in,” says Rob Calver, parts and services director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

“The simple monthly payments make the scheme easier to budget for, providing peace of mind to our customers in a very convenient way. Additionally, a car with a fully stamped service history commands a higher price at the time of resale.”
