Saab Cancels North American Preview Event at San Francisco Auto Show

SACRAMENTO - November 24, 2009: Saab had been planning a cocktail party exclusive sneak preview tomorrow night at the opening of this year's San Francisco International Auto Show. However, after the news broke today that the deal between General Motors and Koenigsegg Group was off, GM issued this short statement: "In light of the announcement today by Koenigsegg concerning the proposed purchase of Saab Automobile AB, we will be cancelling our event at the San Francisco Auto Show. Thank you for understanding. Stay tuned for more information on the future of Saab."
