SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – October 28, 2009: Citroën UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Wady as the Company’s new Fleet Director. Andrew will take up his new post, based in Citroen’s UK Headquarters in Slough, on 18th November, 2009.

Reporting to Managing Director, Gary Savage, Andrew will be responsible for national fleet, business sector and commercial vehicle sales, as well as vehicle remarketing.

Married with two young children, Andrew, aged 36, brings a wealth of fleet experience to his new position, having been most recently with Audi UK, where he was National Contract Hire & Leasing Manager. Andrew has also worked at BMW (UK) and Ford Motor Company in various fleet roles.

Commenting on his new appointment, Andrew said; “I’m delighted to be joining Citroën at an exciting time in the history of the brand and just before the launch of the new C3 and DS3, with the promise of yet more innovative and distinctive products to come. Citroen is continuing to expand its fleet offering and is investing heavily in its future success, so there’s enormous opportunity to grow our fleet sales market share and volumes in the coming years.”

Gary Savage, Citroën UK’s Managing Director said; “I’m pleased to welcome an industry professional such as Andrew into the Citroën Fleet arena. With the Company having just delivered one of its best-ever September results (4.45% fleet share & 9.74% LCV share), and with DS4 and DS5 arriving in the not too distant future, Andrew and his highly professional team will be planning for even stronger fleet sales growth over the next few years.”
