WEYBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – October 26, 2009: Kia Motors Limited is sad to announce that following her wedding in Johannesburg just over a week ago Press Officer Anne Almeida has decided to stay in South Africa and will not be returning to her role at Weybridge.

Stephen Kitson, Communications Director said: “For a variety of reasons Anne feels her place for the time being is at home in South Africa and whilst the entire team at Kia is really sad and disappointed by her decision we understand it perfectly and wish her every success and happiness.

“We had been looking forward to welcoming her back as Mrs Anne Almeida-Anderson – as much as anything so she would come first in any alphabetic list the industry puts together – but instead we will just have to check out the pictures of her wedding on Facebook!” he added

Kitson said the process of trying to find a replacement was already in hand but advised road test editors and any journalist wanting to make a Press Fleet booking that the short-term arrangements put in place before Anne’s wedding would continue and media should contact Kia’s Press Garage directly as outlined below
