The New Design of GM Media Sites

PHOTO

October 25, 2009; GM media sites have been redesigned to take advantage of new technology and to improve the user experience including improved global navigation and faster access to news releases, vehicle information, photos, video, and social media resources.

Automatic language and location detection takes most first-time users to GM media information for the country and language where their computer is connected. Users can then click the “Choose: Country: Language” tool to view media sites for other countries and can choose to make any one of them the default landing page each time that user visits http://media.gm.com.

Other features of the new design:

• Click brand names on the top navigation bar to get the latest information about vehicles available in each country

• Photos and videos are quickly found on their own tabs

• GM contacts are easily found on nearly all pages of the media site for each country

GM Media sites are designed to make it easy for news reporters to find information about GM products and the company. If you have questions or suggestions contact the GM media representatives listed on the site for your favorite country
