MOORESVILLE, October 23, 2009: JR Motorsports announced today it has mutually agreed to release Brian Campe from his contractual duties as crew chief of the No. 5 team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, effective immediately. Tony Eury Jr. will serve as the team’s crew chief this weekend in the Kroger “On Track For The Cure” 250 at Memphis Motorsports Park.

Eury Jr. is a veteran mechanic and crew chief in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series. His assistance during the Atlanta race weekend in September helped the No. 5 team to its season-best finish of third. Eury Jr.’s father, Tony Eury Sr., is crew chief on the No. 88 team at JR Motorsports.

Richard Boswell, a developmental driver in JRM’s late model program, will drive the No. 5 RCCA Chevrolet this weekend in his Nationwide Series debut. The Kroger “On Track For The Cure” 250 is slated for a 3 p.m. ET start and will be televised live on ESPN2.
