Wireless Matrix Announces General Availability of TechDirect

HERNDON, Va.--Wireless Matrix (TSX:WRX) announced today the release of its TechDirect™ solution for representing work orders on a map, now available for general subscription.

TechDirect is an easy-to-use tool within FleetOutlook^® for marrying workforce management data to the real-time locations of mobile assets. TechDirect adds value to a traditional workforce management solution by overlaying key work order data from the workforce management application with real-time vehicle location intelligence on a single FleetOutlook map. By combining work order information with vehicle location, dispatchers and field service managers can reduce the frequency with which they “swivel chair” between the workforce management application and FleetOutlook. TechDirect provides one centralized view at the dispatchers’ fingertips for more efficient routing, scheduling and dispatch. This approach provides dispatchers and field service managers with the visibility they need for smart decision-making to increase the productivity of their mobile workforce, to improve customer satisfaction and to decrease the overall operational costs of their enterprise.
