LONDON – October 20, 2009: Supercar fans can have a special treat this Saturday (October 24) courtesy of the Janspeed-sponsored Dodge Viper.

The car will be among a bevy of supercars giving rides round Castle Combe race circuit close to Junction 17 of the M4 during an event to raise money for, and awareness of, the Stroke Association.

Admission through the competitors’ paddock entrance is £5 and supercar rides cost between £20 and £60, depending on the model chosen.

The Janspeed Dodge Viper has a 550 bhp, 8.0 litre V10 engine and is a full GT3 race car. The vital difference is the passenger seat on the right hand side, so you’ll feel like you’re driving it until you chicken out and try to hit the brake pedal!

“This is a pretty hot experience in a car that’s far rarer than most other supercars,” said Janspeed managing director Mark Vaughan. “I would urge all fellow car nuts to get along and give the Viper a go. Believe me, it will be something to remember – if you are brave enough to keep your eyes open!”
