TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – October 13, 2009: The Honda Jazz has been named as the UK’s most reliable car according to new research from insurance specialist, Warranty Direct.

Data compiled from Warranty Direct’s (www.warrantydirect.co.uk) 50,000 UK policies on four to seven year old cars shows that Jazz models were the most reliable in the survey period.

According to the Warranty Direct Reliability Index, which measures all factors of a repair including cost and frequency, the Jazz is almost six times more reliable than the average car. The Honda Jazz has an index of 20, compared to the average car index of 112 (analysed across 36 manufacturers).

“At Honda we believe it’s essential that every customer can rely on their car to get from point A to point B,” said Honda Australia’s Managing Director, Mr. Yasuhide Mizuno.

“Honda’s commitment to the customer doesn’t end once they leave the showroom. Honda vehicles are designed to provide reliable service, so drivers can enjoy the Honda experience over many years,” he said.

Since its debut in October 2002, the Honda Jazz has sold more than 63,000 units in Australia. The economical light hatch is one of Honda’s most popular models in Australia.
