Powersport Innovations Announces Nick Lee, World Burnout Tour Record Holder, Endorses Safe Ride!

FORT MYERS, Fla., Sept. 30 -- Powersport Innovations is proud to announce that Nick Lee - World Burnout Tour (WBT) endorses Safe Ride. Paul Grzebielucha, president and CEO, states, "We at Powersport Innovations are excited to have Nick Lee as a spokesperson for Safe Ride - a true lifesaving device. Nick brings excitement, energy and a heartfelt belief in our Safe Ride product that translates well into a true desire to keep motorcyclists safe while riding their bikes. We are honored to have Nick a part of the Safe Ride team."

During his World Burnout Tour, Nick interacts with and entertains thousands of motorcyclists. Nick will be demonstrating the Safe Ride product on his show bikes and powerful "bar stools." He will also be debuting his new Safe Ride Harley Davidson 883 Iron, provided by Powersport Innovations. Nick states, "Safe Ride is an awesome product that I really believe in! I like to entertain bikers and I really believe I am introducing them to a product that not only is cool and looks great, but is the hottest new lifesaving technology that is available. We all want to be seen while riding and Safe Ride really helps this happen with the strobing red LED that activates when you start to slow down. This product is so advanced, it activates before your brake lights go on! I can't wait to introduce it to all my fans."

The groundbreaking Safe Ride system includes a microprocessor-controlled G force sensing module. As a motorcyclist throttles down or decelerates, the micro processor provides power to the LED. When engaged, the red LED strobes, gaining surrounding drivers' full attention and helping them take timely corrective action and avoid collisions. This advanced warning system works with any reduction of speed including downshifting, sudden throttle reductions and braking. This is a drastic improvement over other systems that only work if the brake is applied.

Extremely durable, the system is fully water-, shock- and vibration-proof. With marine-grade wire and epoxy-embedded circuitry, it can withstand harsh weather conditions. Safe Ride comes with installation instructions and is simple to install. With an industry-leading 3-year replacement warranty, the product is available in several models and can be purchased with or without an LED. The Safe Ride module draws minimal power of only 170 milliamps and is totally independent of the brake system.

Paul Grzebielucha, president and CEO of Powersport Innovations, states, "This product continues our work to provide innovative products that will help save lives. We are dedicated to helping reduce the nearly 5,000 lives that are lost annually, many due to motorcyclists being hit from behind."

Powersport Innovations is based in Fort Myers, Florida and is a wholly owned subsidiary of PWC Industries, a leader in revolutionary product development. The company focuses on quality, safety, reliability, innovation, convenience and environmentally sound products and technologies to deliver a positive experience to the outdoor enthusiast.
