Danger Run "Ghost Run" Celebrates 15 Years of Halloween Fun in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--With an all-new lineup of roads, riddles, and haunted houses, Danger Run, a Halloween themed road rally (a.k.a. “ghost run”) returns to Louisville for its 15th season.

Danger Run, billed as “The Most Fun You’ve EVER Had in Your Car®,” is a driving game participants play in their vehicles, generally in groups. Participants will be given a series of rhyming limerick-style clues that lead to two premier haunted attractions. Each of the clues, when solved correctly, will reveal the next turn or series of turns, which will lead to both of the haunted attractions.

The object of the game is to complete the route with the fewest mistakes, determined by the accumulated mileage on your vehicle. Speed and time have no impact on the game. First and second-place prizes valued at over $500 are awarded to the groups who follow the route most accurately.

Any Friday and Saturday evening from September 25 through October 31 between the hours of 7 p.m. - 11 p.m., Danger Run participants can start from one of three locations – Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse at 501 South Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville KY; 6651 Dixie Highway in Louisville KY; or 1350 Veterans Pkwy in Clarksville, IN.

The haunted houses are open until 2 a.m. and include two of the scariest attractions in the Louisville area. Combined, these haunts are valued at $30 per person, but admission to each is included with your Danger Run ticket.

New this year, anyone can play the Virtual Danger Run flash based game for free at www.dangerrun.com, a replication of the game you would play in real life.

Tickets can be purchased online this year at www.dangerrun.com for $14.95 or at each starting gate for $15.95. Student and military discount information is available on the website. Each participant receives entry into both haunted houses as well as a free cheeseburger from DQ Grill & Chill. Every carload of four or more receives a $10 Speedway gas card.
