Just Plugs Protect Race Fans

NILES, Aug. 26, 2009: As fans willingly get their senses assaulted by nitromethane-burning Top Fuel funny cars and dragsters as they reach ground-pounding speeds in excess of 300 mph, Just Plugs will make sure those attending the MAC Tools U.S. Nationals Sept. 2-7 at O’Reilly Raceway Park (ORP) at Indianapolis and the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) will leave with a great experience and their hearing intact.

Just Plugs, the Michigan-based developer, manufacturer and seller of ornamental hearing protection, has reached separate agreements with ORP and LVMS to provide its unique wares to NHRA’s legion of staunch supporters.

“There is perhaps no bigger rush than being on the starting line of an NHRA event when two cars with a combined 14,000 horsepower blast down the track,” said James R. “Cricket” Butler, CEO of Just Plugs. “But as exhilarating as it is, it’s also unbelievably loud. The crews of NHRA teams wear hearing protection for a reason. Fans should too, and we’re giving them a cool way to do it.”
