FRANKLIN, TN - August 10, 2009: Nissan North America, Inc. announced on Friday a new “Bottom Line” Model Year End Sales Event campaign, which is designed to draw consumer attention to the fact that Nissan has a comprehensive vehicle line-up eligible for the government C.A.R.S. (Car Allowance Rebate System) program rebate, as well as special limited time leasing and cash back finance offers. The event, which is scheduled to run throughout the month of August, builds on Nissan’s recent “Nissan Delivers” marketing efforts by urging customers to come in and get their best bottom line deal. This marks the 8th straight year that Nissan has run a Bottom Line Sales Event.

“The nation’s top publications have taken notice of Nissan’s compelling, high quality, high excitement vehicles,” said Christian Meunier, vice president, Nissan Marketing. “Now it’s time for customers to see what the media has been raving about, while taking advantage of some great model year-end offers. We want people to know that Nissans are the more exciting choice and they’re on sale now.”

For example, the 2009 Nissan Altima – ranked highest among mid-size vehicles in the J.D. Power and Associates’ 2009 Initial Quality StudySM – is available with $1,500 cash back or a $199/month lease. Other offers include a Nissan Sentra with a $149/month lease and a Nissan Versa for under $10,000. The sale ends August 31st.

The new advertising includes national and cable television spots, national interactive media shopping and search site ads, direct mail and in-dealership support. The campaign was created in conjunction with Zimmerman Advertising, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
