MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM - August 6, 2009: SEAT UK is strengthening its growing fleet operation with the appointment of Sally Livingstone as the Spanish brand’s new National Fleet and Business Sales Manager.

Sally, 40, was formerly Audi UK’s Key Account Manager and with eight successful years at the German outfit under her belt brings to SEAT extensive experience in the increasingly demanding fleet, business and leasing arena.

Her decision to move up to a national role with SEAT UK could not be better timed, coinciding as it does with the showroom debut of the capacious and capable Exeo ST – the estate version of SEAT’s universally acclaimed Exeo saloon which debuted here earlier this year.

Sally, who reports to SEAT UK’s recently-appointed Head of Fleet and Business Sales, Nick Andrews, will lead a determined team keen to capitalise on exciting opportunities presented by the Spaniards’ growing array of business and fleet-focused models.

Beyond the obvious business-biased appeal of the burgeoning Exeo line-up, soon to be bolstered yet further by the arrival of a keenly-priced 120 PS 2.0 TDI CR powerplant in the saloon range, SEAT’s fleet-focused stars include tax-efficient Ecomotive versions of the Ibiza 5dr and Ibiza SC, revised Leon and the Alhambra.

Add the recently revised Altea, and ultra-practical Altea XL models to the mix and it’s easy to see why Sally is so bullish about SEAT’s fleet prospects.

She said: ‘SEAT now has a really strong selection of vehicles to satisfy the diverse needs of most fleet users.

‘I see the SEAT ethos, simply, as being this: we should be easy to do business with, we should solve problems and we should anticipate demand.

‘I want us to appeal to the new generation of fleet and business drivers, and put SEAT firmly on the fleet map in the process.’

Nick Andrews said: ‘Sally is a great addition to the team. Her experience with key account holders over several years will, I’m sure, add significantly to SEAT’s growing presence in this area.’

When she’s not chasing down fleet business, Sally enjoys playing the guitar, keeping fit and ‘generally looking after myself’
