SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – July 23, 2009: Already one of the best equipped cars in its class, Citroën’s C5 now delivers even more ‘Créative Technologie’ with the VTR+, the most popular model in the range, thanks to the introduction of a new colour satellite navigation system as standard equipment.

The VTR+ model, now appropriately re-named VTR+ NAV, features Citroën’s fully integrated MyWay navigation system with its easy to read 7” colour screen, European mapping, voice guidance, Bluetooth® hands-free connectivity and live traffic information with route recalculation. The traffic information service - from Trafficmaster PLC - is provided free-of-charge and without subscription. MyWay also provides the driver with auxiliary connectors in the glove box to allow portable media players to be plugged into the car’s audio system.

The new Citroën C5 VTR+ NAV is Citroën’s confident response to increasing demand in this sector, from both private and corporate customers, for integrated navigation functionality as standard specification. With C5’s existing equipment and quality levels, combined with one of the very best residual value performances in its class, the additional specification of the new VTR+ NAV will undoubtedly appeal to many more of these customers, increasing C5’s popularity still further.
