Two-Time GIR Winner Sorenson Going For Three at Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 Presented by Ventrilo

MADISON, Ill. July 9, 2009: Reed Sorenson has two NASCAR Nationwide Series wins at Gateway International Raceway and will look to become the first three-time winner next weekend in the Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 Presented by Ventrilo. Sorenson joins fellow two-time GIR winners Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick in the field, along with Kyle Busch and Riverton, Ill.-native and 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series champ Justin Allgaier.

Sorenson, 23, is also a fulltime NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racer, driving the legendary #43 Dodge for Richard Petty Motorsports. He has a total of three NNS wins, the other coming at GIR’s sister track, Nashville Superspeedway. At Gateway on July 18, he will race as a teammate to three-time USAC Midget Series champion Jason Leffler in the #32 Braun Racing machine.
