Vauxhall Offers Superb Extended Warranty Across Entire Model Range

LUTON, UNITED KINGDOM – July 9, 2009: It’s more important than ever to safeguard your finances, so with that in mind Vauxhall has introduced new extended warranty packages, which have been completely redesigned not only to simplify the process but also to allow for significant savings.

Previously customers were offered the choice of up to 10 warranty products, all of which had different levels of cover, claim liabilities and pricing structures. This process has been thoroughly reviewed and now relies on only a handful of criteria.

This simplified structure and a new online training programme for retailer staff, makes it far easier to fully explain the product benefits to customers. The two levels of cover for new and used cars are now banded by engine size and cover vehicles up to 10 years / 100,000 miles.

The benefits to customers of the new extended warranty are many. As well as saving money, customers can also be confident that they have been protected from unexpected repair bills and that only manufacturer approved parts will be fitted to their vehicle. Finally should the vehicle be sold, they can rest assured that they’ve added to the resale value of their vehicle by providing a transferable warranty if they sell their car privately.

These fantastic warranty products have not only been extended to include owners of older vehicles but now for the first time will cover all of the most popular models as well.

Commenting on the changes Andrew Curley, GMUK & Ireland Service Channel and Aftersales CRM Manager said “We’re very pleased with our new extended warranty products, they’ve not only made life easier for our retailers but they’ve also enabled us to pass on some great savings as well as encourage new customers to visit our retail network”.
