Tony Stewart to run "back-to-school" paint
scheme at Chicagoland
MEDIA ALERT
RACING BACK TO SCHOOL WITH NASCAR STAR TONY STEWART
Stewart's No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice Chevy Impala SS To Feature
Special 'Back-To-School' Paint Scheme At Chicagoland Speedway
DETAILS:
Two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series(tm) champion Tony Stewart will sport a
colorful "Back-To-School" paint scheme on his No. 14 Office Depot/Old
Spice Chevy Impala SS during this weekend's LifeLock.com 400 race at
Chicagoland Speedway (Saturday, July 11, 7:30 p.m. EST on TNT). The
scheme includes everything from crayons to paper clips to pencils, and
even reads "Teacher's Pet" on the decklid, which is designed to look
like a school composition book!
"I know a lot of kids probably don't want to hear it, as it is the
middle of July, but back-to-school time is right around the corner,"
said Stewart, who won last weekend's Coke Zero 400 race at Daytona
International Speedway for his 35th career Cup Series victory. "The
paint scheme we'll run at Chicagoland reflects that, as it shows off all
the products Office Depot has for parents to get their kids ready to go
back to school. It's like your shopping list is right on the race car!"
Stewart, who currently leads the Sprint Cup Series point standings by
180 points, is a two-time Cup Series race winner at Chicagoland Speedway
and has recorded six top-5 finishes in eight career Cup Series starts at
the 1.5-mile track near Joliet, Illinois.
