Panamera Launch in the Growth Markets Under new Management

STUTTGART, GERMANY – July 2, 2009: Right in time for the market introduction of Porsche's four-dour Gran Turismo Panamera starting in September, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, is changing the management in three growth regions. Starting 1 August 2009, the sales companies in Canada, Russia and the regional office in Miami, Florida responsible for Latin America will be under new management.

Dr. Thomas Stärtzel, 49, who founded the regional office for Latin America in 2000 and increased sales in the region ten-fold from 264 to 2,712 vehicles as of the business year 2007/08, will be subsequent in charge of the sale of Porsche's four model ranges in Russia. Stärtzel, who started his career at Porsche in Germany in 1995, will therefore be continuing his successful work as President and Managing Director of Porsche Russia in Moscow.

Matthias Brück, 38, will be serving as the new President and Managing Director of Porsche Latin America starting in August. In the past, Brück was located in Germany as the regional sales director for the region Canada, USA, Latin America. He brings along 13 years of experience in the automobile industry to his new position in Miami and has been with Porsche since 2002. Joe Lawrence, 42, will be filling the position of President and Managing Director at the sales company in Canada in the future. Lawrence has held various positions in the automobile industry in Germany and North America since 1996.
