Pedata Urges RVers to Go Green: Top 5 Tips Help RV Lovers Lower their Carbon Footprint

Top 5 Green RVing Tips:

1. The easiest way to lower your carbon footprint is to eliminate the energy expenditures in your home while traveling. Turn off your utilities before you jump in the RV for a long road trip.

2. Minimize water use. Turn the shower off while you wash your hair or brush your teeth instead of leaving it running. Fill the sink with water to wash dishes instead of running it constantly throughout the process.

3. Consider your energy sources. Would it be advantageous to incorporate solar panels on your RV? You'll be surprised what a difference they can make.

4. Keep your eyes open at popular RV campgrounds. You'll find many encourage recycling and provide you with the opportunity to recycle general paper products, plastic containers, etc. And if one of your favorite campgrounds doesn't provide recycling opportunities…suggest it!

5. Don't be weary of unhitching and parking your RV for around town travel or towing a vehicle behind your RV that gets good gas mileage.

Clint Ethington of Pedata said, "We've got the experience necessary to provide consumers with the additional resources and tools that make their enjoyment of the RV lifestyle as enjoyable as their initial purchase. Pedata's Top 5 Tips to Go Green are easy to incorporate and help consumers feel better about their recreational choices."
