Evanston Subaru to Relocate to Skokie, Illinois

- New location to be largest dealership in Chicago Metro Area -

EVANSTON, Ill., June 17 -- Evanston Subaru announced today that it is in the process of relocating to Skokie and will be open in July. The new dealership will be Subaru of America's largest facility in the Chicago metro market.

The building will be approximately 25,000 square feet on four acres of land and the number of employees is expected to increase to accommodate the new, larger location within the year. The facility will be located at 3340 Oakton Street in Skokie, IL 60076.

Evanston Subaru remains the top Subaru dealer in Illinois in 2009 and held that title for 2008. Driven by record results for its Impreza, Legacy and Forester model lines, Subaru of America, Inc. was the only full-line brand with positive sales in 2008.

"We are very much looking forward to the new location, which will allow us to provide even better service for our customers," said Rob Paddor, owner of Evanston Subaru. "In 2008, with new Subaru sales of 528 units versus prior year sales of 441 units, Evanston Subaru grew its business by 19.7- percent and we fully expected to do even better at the new location in Skokie."
