MILTON KEYNES – June 11, 2009: Happy Škoda owners have once more ranked the brand as one of the top five manufacturers in the JD Power & Associates Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Survey. The Škoda Octavia was named Best Small Family Car for the third year in a row.

Škoda has now been in the top five in the survey for 14 successive years – the only manufacturer to achieve such a feat – showing that the company really is the manufacturer of happy drivers.

Škoda UK Director, Robert Hazelwood, said: “We are delighted to yet again be in the top five in this prestigious survey and to be the only brand consistently ranked so highly. This result is impartial confirmation that Škoda continues to offer great quality products and excellent value for money, and that our retailer partners continue to deliver outstanding levels of customer service.

“With the arrival of the all-new Yeti in September, we are confident that we can introduce a whole new group of consumers to our exceptional customer experience.”

What Car? magazine said: “Should you need to visit a dealer, you can expect good service; Octavia drivers told JD Power that helpful staff and work completed on time were the norm.

“The Octavia is a very likeable car as well as a reliable one. Owners gave strong scores for the driving experience, the roomy cabin and the way the car looks. What’s more, the Škoda should be cheap to run.”
