Volkswagen Group of America to Donate 13 Vehicles to Fairfax County Public Schools

HERNDON, Va., June 3 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Stefan Jacoby, president and CEO, Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (VWGoA) will join Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, and Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) administrators, board members, teachers and students at a "drive-off" celebration on Thursday, June 4. The celebration at South County Secondary School will mark the company's donation of 13 Volkswagen and Audi vehicles to ten Fairfax County high schools and three high school academies. The donation is part of an ongoing partnership between VWGoA and FCPS, which will include industry training for teachers and student instruction on new clean diesel and other environmentally conscious technologies.
