Subaru in Demand in Australia

WETHERILL PARK, AUSTRALIA – June New generation Subarus continue to spur demand for the All-Wheel Drive brand, with May sales of 2965 vehicles, according to official VFACTS figures released today.

Record Impreza sales of 1008 were up 27.9 per cent on May last year.

Forester sold 1282, continuing its dominance of all Sports Utility Vehicle segments and placing it 15.3 per cent ahead year-to-date (YTD).

Tribeca sold 168, up 15.9 per cent for the month, also a May record.

Subaru’s market share for the month was 3.9 per cent and 4.3 per cent YTD.

Run-out sales of 260 Libertys and 247 Outbacks rounded out the Subaru result.
