EverDrive Provides Guaranteed Installation Service on Used Engines and Used Transmissions

RICHMOND, Va.--EverDrive LLC, a leading supplier of recycled auto parts, is now offering its customers in-market installation with a validated warranty when they purchase a used engine or used transmission through

“Finding a quality used engine or transmission is only the first step in a low-cost auto repair,” said Joey Woodfin, chief executive officer of EverDrive. “The next steps are to properly install the engine

  • at a competitive rate
  • quickly and conveniently, so the vehicle is running and available for the customer’s use and
  • correctly so that the warranty on the part remains valid.”

All EverDrive used parts come with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, whether the parts are sold through an EverDrive retail partner or online direct to the consumer. The company’s installation service also includes one year of labor warranty coverage.

EverDrive installation is designed to be hassle-free for the consumer. The customer first selects the engine or transmission required for the specific make and model of his or her vehicle. EverDrive customers have access to millions of specific and high-quality used auto parts through the company’s relationships with automotive recyclers nationwide. Each recycler has passed EverDrive’s certification process.

After the customer selects the engine or transmission, EverDrive then makes all the arrangements for installation by an EverDrive certified mechanic located in the customer’s market. The installation price is provided to the customer at the time of purchase, and installation is generally completed within five business days after the part arrives.

“At EverDrive, we continue to focus on helping people get greater economy out of their vehicle, but with a commitment to quality and service,” said Woodfin. “Used parts are Original Equipment Manufacturer parts just like new parts, but can cost up to 50 percent less. It simply makes economic sense for the consumer to ask that a guaranteed used part be included in any significant vehicle repair.

“And today, it’s no longer necessary to crawl through a ‘junkyard’ to find the part. Combining the computerized inventories of high-caliber recyclers with our online delivery systems and our retail partners has simplified the process and, equally important, provides a higher quality product to the consumer. Adding installation through further extends the quality, convenience and cost effectiveness of purchasing the most critical and expensive parts – engines and transmissions.”
