Shanghai, May 12, 2009: (Gasgoo.com) Last month, Chinese carmakers saw their auto exports rally and rise slightly from the previous month, sina.com said today.

The statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) show that auto companies in China exported a total of 26,000 vehicles in April, up 15.9% from March.

The global financial crisis has heavily affected China's auto exports. In the first four months, Chinese auto exports declined deeply from the same period of last year, which has dragged down the sales growth rate of the auto industry.

According to the data of China Customs, the exports of engines and auto parts also began to recover in March and grew at a higher than imports of the month.

In March, there were 161,200 engines exported, up 37.55% month on month (m/m), and the import value of auto parts and components reached $1.048 billion, up 59.92% m/m.
