Autonet Mobile Named a Best Place to Work in the Bay Area by San Francisco Business Times

SAN FRANCISCO--Autonet Mobile, the world’s first internet service provider for cars, has been named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. This annual award recognizes companies that provide employees with a positive workplace experience and is based on employee evaluations of their work environment, compensation and company management.

The San Francisco Business Times’ “Best Places to Work” selects the top 125 companies to work for in the San Francisco Bay Area. Autonet Mobile ranked 13 out of 25 in the category recognizing businesses that employ 25-50 employees. The San Francisco Business Times received more than 450 submissions.

“We’re honored that Autonet Mobile has been recognized as a best place to work,” said Sterling Pratz, CEO of Autonet Mobile. “In the past year, we have secured significant partnerships with major auto brands, grown our customer base and enhanced our patented TRU technology. Our dedicated team of employees is at the heart of our success, and providing a workplace that inspires creativity and confidence is just one way that we help to ensure we see continued success.”

Autonet Mobile turns vehicles into WiFi hotspots, delivering reliable and easy-to-use internet access. Passengers can now bring all of their own WiFi-enabled devices such as laptops, web tablets, PSPs, and other devices on the road. The kids in the back seat can feed their Webkinz pets online, do homework, IM or play online games while Mom checks traffic and weather reports, and books a dinner reservation.
