Superlattice Power and one of the largest battery companies are developing long-term strategic plans to include comprehensive training of US-based employees positioning the company on solid ground to manufacture and supply all lithium-ion batteries for electric and hybrid cars.

President Obama’s signing of the country’s economic stimulus plans includes more than $20 Billion in loans, grants and tax credits to help stimulate the development of large-scale domestic production of advanced, lithium-ion batteries for hybrid and electric cars to save the world from pollution and through training create jobs.

Superlattice Power is developing a joint venture with a world renowned company and will adopt a mass production strategy with automated equipment to produce high quality, cost efficient battery products on a large scale.
