Norway First Government to Act on TACH Plan

AUTO CENTRAL - April 27, 2009: Last June, The Auto Channel proposed a radical plan for the United States to eliminate gasoline-powered vehicles. Many in the auto industry considered the plan unrealistic...not because it wasn't needed or the correct thing to do, but because they was felt that our government would never take the strong steps that the plan called for.

And, despite the soaring gasoline prices last summer, along with the ensuing global understanding that we are indeed in the middle of an economic depression, to this day the United States has yet to react on our proposal.

But now word comes from Norway, a significant oil producer, that Norwegian lawmakers are working on a plan that could lead to a ban on the sale of gasoline-powered cars. Although not much is known about the Norwegian action, it is strikingly close to the plan put forth by The Auto Channel.

Although we wish that Norway was neither a socialist nor anti-Semitic nation, The Auto Channel wishes them well and stands ready to assist in providing additional details to help make the plan work.
