InfinitiUSA Mobile Web Site Selected as Finalist for 2009 Webby Award

FRANKLIN, Tenn., April 27 -- InfinitiUSA Mobile, a new mobile site extension of InfinitiUSA.com, has been selected as one of five nominees in the 13th Annual Webby Awards in the "Mobile Marketplace & Services" category. InfinitiUSA Mobile is up for two awards - the Webby Award (selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences) and the Webby People's Voice Award (determined by public online voting through http://pv.webbyawards.com/).

Infiniti's new mobile site, launched in early March, provides consumers with the ability to view vehicle information and image galleries, locate Infiniti dealers and request vehicle pricing quotes through any Web-enabled mobile device. It offers specific information and the detailed functionality of the traditional Web site and publishes the relevant content in a more consumable manner for handheld devices.

"The mobile site addresses the evolving consumer demand for access to relevant information anytime, anywhere," said Ben Poore, vice president, Infiniti Business Unit. "Over the past year, the use of mobile internet devices has doubled to more than 63 million users, reinforcing the importance of the mobile medium to Infiniti owners and customers."

Voting for the Webby' People's Voice Award ends April 30th, with the winners in all 2009 Webby categories announced on May 5th.
