Veterans' Appreciation Takes Center Stage at Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Jiffy Lube Service Centers March 20-22, 2009

CHICAGO, March 11 -- In honor of the men and women, past and present, of the U.S. Armed Services who put their lives on the line for the good of their country, participating Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Jiffy Lube service centers will be giving out coupon books free of charge to all customers who bring in their vehicles for service March 20 through 22. Jiffy Lube will donate $1 per vehicle to the Wounded Heroes Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing much-needed support to military families and returning veterans.

Customers will be able to use two of the more than $100 worth of coupons immediately upon receipt - a Signature Service Oil Change discount and an ancillary service discount.

"Our Jiffy Lube family is extremely proud to be associated with an organization that is deeply committed to raising awareness and financial support for the unsung heroes who have sacrificed so much for the country we love," said Dan Petrey, president of the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Jiffy Lube Owners Association. "Our Veterans' Appreciation Weekend is one more small way of saying thanks."

Wounded Heroes Foundation and Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Jiffy Lube Dealers have partnered in fund-raising efforts for this vital organization for the last two years, raising more than $50,000 to support local veterans.
