Dow Automotive Supports New Opel Insignia with Crash Durable Bonding Solutions

Opel Insignia to use epoxy-based adhesives in body structure

SCHWALBACH, Germany, March 11 -- Dow Automotive, as a supplier of crash durable adhesives that fulfil OEM requirements for both safety and weight-savings, continues to broaden the application base of this technology.

For the new Opel Insignia sedan, which replaces the Opel Vectra, Dow Automotive has been designated by General Motors as supplier of crash durable adhesives for body construction.
