DR Motor at the Geneva Motor Show

GENEVA, Switzerland, 4 March, 2009 - DR Motor, Italian distributor and assembler of Chery cars exhibited for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show. Here's what they've got to say:

With world-wide preview DR2 the Molisana Company begins its internationalization pass through. Next landing in Spain, Germany and France.

Two years later the debut as automotive cars builders and after three presences at Motor Show of Bologna, the DR gets ready to living its first International Motor Show of Geneva (3 - 15 March 2009).

By introducing one new world-wide preview, the DR2.

One car of segment B that goes to join to DR range, composed up to now from SUV DR5 and DR3 and City car DR1 (DR1, DR2 and DR3 will be commercialized beginning from according to 2009 second semester ).

But Geneva represents for the DR also the beginning of its internationalization pass through.

The Molisana Company, after good result obtained in the Italian market through Suv DR5, (Unrae Source of 2008: 1,953 registrations from January to December 2008 place mark to DR to the third party place to it in the chassis top ten ) and after it are last from an innovative system of sale, which that one of the hypermarkets , to a network of dealers, today in full phase of realization, is in fact ready also for the European markets.

DR extends its range entering also the B segment. The DR2 was born.

World preview at the 79° International Motor Show of Geneva.

After three months since the DR1 presentation, another world preview for DR takes place.

The DR2 makes its debut at the show room of Geneva 2009.

A little longer than DR1, 3,70 m against 3,50 m, it assembles the same propulsor, 83 Cv Acteco 1.3 available also in bi-fuel GPL version (78 Cv). Its maximum speed is 156 Km/h and the acceleration goes from 0 to 100 in 12,1 seconds. Even in this case the DR thought about a unique full optional series version.

The main series equipment are: ABS Driver and passenger airbag Anti-intrusion bars Parking sensor with distance signal Central locking Electric winder on the 4 doors Electrically adjustable outside mirror Split rear seats Alloy rims Metallized paint Front disk brake Luggage rack Air-conditioner Autoradio Cd player MP3 USB port

Thanks to DR2, the DR enters the B segment, extending its range .

It will be on the market since May/June 2009, which is one month earlier than the DR1 commercial launch.
