Autobytel Unable to Find Buyer...Again

IRVINE, Calif. January 22, 2009: Autobytel Inc., announced today that it has ended its evaluation of a possible sale of the company. The company will continue to evaluate other strategic alternatives with its financial advisor, RBC Capital Markets. In layman's terms, this probably means that no other entity can find any value in the company, certainly not a value that meets Autobytel's illusionary value.

This attempt to find a buyer for the company is the second major attempt to do so in recent years.
