Lancia Main Sponsor of the 9th World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates

TURIN, Italy – December 5, 2008: Lancia is honoured to be the Main Sponsor of the 9thWorld Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates to be held in Paris from 11 to 13 December at the Hotel de Ville.

Speeches will be made by the Mayor of Paris Bertrand Delanoe, the Summit’s two promoters Walter Veltroni and Mikhail Gorbachev, Nobel Peace prizewinnerin 1990, Ingrid Betancourt a candidate for the 2008 Nobel Prize, Prime Minister of the exiled Burmese Government Sein Win, and Nobel Peace Laureates Lech Walesa, Frederik Willem De Klerk, Mairead Corrigan Maguire, John Hume and Betty Williams.

Lancia will make available a fleet of its latest model - Delta - that will constitute the official means of transport for all the Summit dignitaries.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Summit is being held in the French capital instead of Rome, home of the previous eight summits.
