Autohorn York Dares To Be Different With 60 Volvo C30's

YORK – United Kingdom – December 1, 2008: Volvo’s C30 R-DESIGN Sport is setting one rental company apart from the opposition in the city of York. Europcar franchisee, Autohorn Ltd has taken delivery of 60 striking C30's to become part of its 400-strong daily rental fleet.

Autohorn selected the sporty Volvo C30 with its 2-litre 136 PS diesel engine and CO2 emissions of just 151 g/km over more traditional rivals for a number of key reasons, not least for its head turning R-DESIGN bodykit and high level of standard features.

Autohorn customers will benefit from four leather trimmed seats, matching steering wheel, aluminium sports pedals and gear knob insert, blue instrument dials and a class leading audio system, all of which are standard on the R-DESIGN Sport model.

The C30’s highly competitive residual values and impressive economy figure of 49.6 mpg on the combined cycle were equally high up Autohorn’s purchasing check list.

“We’re a family run business that has operated in York for 13 years. We are always on the lookout for attractive and individual vehicles to set us apart from other hire companies,” said Autohorn’s Managing Director Lee Underwood.

“York is largely a city of tourists and we try to offer our customers cars that are different, interesting to drive and better equipped than base models. Most of our Volvo C30 R-DESIGN Sport models will come with the 18-inch alloy wheel option too,” he added.
