NASHVILLE, Tenn. Nov. 20, 2008; Bridgestone-brand Potenza™ RE050A™ tires are original equipment on the highly anticipated 2009 Nissan 370Z sports coupe which was unveiled at the 2008 Los Angeles Car Show.

“This extremely high-performance vehicle is a perfect platform to showcase the performance capabilities of the Bridgestone-brand Potenza tires,” said Michael Martini, President, Consumer OE Tire Sales, Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC (BFNT). “Nissan really upped the ante on the new-generation Z roadster, we’re proud to be part of the excitement as this high-profile vehicle is unveiled to the world.”

BFNT is supplying a summer fitment Bridgestone-brand Potenza RE050A™ tire for the 2009 Nissan 370Z in two sizes:
245/40R19 94W Potenza RE050A – front
275/35R19 96W Potenza RE050A – rear

The Bridgestone-brand Potenza RE050A with UNI-T technology offers outstanding wet and dry traction, a tread pattern that promotes rapid water evacuation, variable dimensions in the tread blocks, and a smooth shape to reduce noise. An asymmetrical pattern in the RE050A tread increases surface contact to enhance acceleration and cornering.
