Volvo, Clear Channel Extend Relationship to Offer Real-Time Traffic to Canadian Users

SAN ANTONIO - November 17, 2008 - Clear Channel Radio's Total Traffic Network today announced that it has reached an agreement with Volvo Cars of Canada Corp. to provide its real-time traffic information service to Canadian Volvo vehicle owners. Owners of a 2009 XC90, S40, V50, C70, C30, S80, XC70 and V70 vehicle equipped with a factory-installed navigation system will have access to the traffic information over RDS-TMC (Radio Data System Traffic Message Channel). With real time traffic information, drivers will be better able to plan their drive routes by avoiding road obstructions and reducing unnecessary fuel consumption common to heavy stop-and-go traffic. The service will be provided to Canadian Volvo owners without additional charge.

"Volvo is widely respected for its dependable vehicles and this is just another example of the company's dedication to providing new options for safe driving," said Jeff Littlejohn, Executive Vice President of Distribution Development for Clear Channel Radio. "We worked closely with Volvo Cars of Canada to bring the Total Traffic Network to Canada and we are committed to continuing to meet the growing demand for this critical information."

"We're excited that Volvo drivers will be able to benefit from the Total Traffic Network service in Canada," said Jeff Pugliese, President and CEO of Volvo Canada. "Clear Channel is synonymous with top notch traffic information and our drivers can rest assured that this service will help them navigate the Canadian landscape in the safest and most fuel efficient way."

Supplying real-time traffic data to over 500,000 subscribers, CCTTN is the leading source of current traffic information. In addition to Volvo Canada, the company's customers include portable navigation systems (ASUS, Garmin, TomTom, Navigon, Nav N Go, Mio Technology, Delphi, Kenwood, Clarion, Harmon Kardon, Horizon Navigation, and Siemens, among others), other automakers (who all offer TTN as a standard, subscription-free service), broadcast media, wireless and Internet-based services.
