HOUSTON, Sept. 25, 2008 - The Mint Leasing, Inc. (OTC:MLES) (BULLETIN BOARD: MLES) , a provider of innovative automotive leasing solutions, today announced that the Company has full power and is completely operational. While much of Houston, Texas suffered significant power outages and other damage in the wake of Hurricane Ike, The Mint Leasing reported that damage to its facilities has been minimal, with only one vehicle being flooded. Any loss of use of business assets will be covered by insurance, and the Company expects no negative impact from Hurricane Ike upon its financial results.

"This hurricane could have created tremendous challenges for our Company and customers, and for this reason we are thankful that neither were significantly impacted," noted Jerry Parish, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Mint Leasing, Inc. "Business has been brisk since the storm, as many residents in the Houston-Galveston area are looking to replace vehicles that were damaged or flooded by the hurricane. Our expectation is that our sales will increase as a result."
