September 2008 U.S. Automobile Manufacturer Rebates

Washington DC September 8, 2008; The AIADA newsletter reported that car dealers are offering national cash-back deals on cars, minivans, and SUVs both big and small, just in time for back-to-school.

The L.A. Times has compiled a list of the 2008 models that help pay for themselves with around $1,000.

Nissan, one of the few carmakers that did not report a loss in August, has plenty of rebates - even on the small, gas-efficient Sentra. But one of their best deals is on the 2008 Nissan Armada. Buyers can get up to $5,000 back on this stylish SUV until September 30.

Another great deal can be had on the always popular 2008 Lexus ES 350. Customers will receive $1,000 back on the luxury sedan, which gets 19 city/27 hwy mpg.
