AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 20, 2008 -- Softex Incorporated, the world's leading supplier of innovative security software products and solutions for computing devices, and Campana Systems Inc., have partnered to provide Campana's AAA/CAA auto club customers with secure access to the AXIS business and information management software, and other enterprise applications.

For over 20 years Campana Systems Inc. has been providing integrated business and information management solutions to AAA/CAA auto clubs through its AXIS Division. The AXIS product suite, which includes member relationship management, emergency road service, membership, travel, point-of-sale and financial toolkits, are used by auto clubs to deliver exceptional and timely service, build stronger member relationships and increase member retention.

This partnership will help AAA/CAA auto clubs protect confidential client information, such as credit card numbers, by ensuring only authorized users have access to AXIS via the Softex OmniPass software suite. The OmniPass software works together with Softex OmniPod USB fingerprint reader to securely identify an employee before granting them access to AXIS and other enterprise applications, which eliminates the risks associated with un-secure passwords that can be easily compromised or stolen.

The Softex OmniPass Software application is the leading comprehensive client and enterprise security solution available in the industry today to protect all corporate applications from unauthorized access. The product supports password management, multi-factor authentication, Windows logon security, single sign-on, file/folder encryption, regulatory compliance auditing capability, e-mail and VPN security. The OmniPass Enterprise Edition software allows computers loaded with OmniPass Client Edition to work in conjunction with the enterprise's Active Directory (LDAP) server to provide back-end management of the environment by IT personnel. With businesses focused on actively managing multiple systems, the Softex OmniPass software provides control that IT departments need while significantly reducing their support costs.

"Using OmniPass with a fingerprint authentication is the perfect method of making certain the user's identity is accurate before granting access to critical applications," said Ralph D'Altilia, Vice President, Business Development, Softex Incorporated. "We are pleased to team with Campana, allowing us to offer security solutions to meet the expanding needs of the AAA/CAA Auto Clubs."

"Identity theft using unsecure and stolen passwords is a large risk for any enterprise. By using OmniPass, we can ensure that the customer data stored in AXIS is available only to those who are authorized to use it," said Pierre Lapalme, Director of Sales and Marketing at Campana Systems.
