AUBURN HILLS, MI - August 20, 2008: BorgWarner's industry-leading capabilities in all-wheel drive (AWD) technology and vehicle dynamics will be spotlighted at the 2008 Society of Automotive Engineers AWD Symposium August 20 and 22 at the Ann Arbor Marriott at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

"OEMs all over the world, and the people who drive the vehicles they make, rely on the benefits of enhanced vehicle traction, stability and handling that our systems provide," said Dan CasaSanta, President and General Manager, BorgWarner TorqTransfer Systems. "As a global leader in advanced front-wheel and rear-wheel based all-wheel drive technology, we are proud to showcase our capabilities at this important event."

At 10:30 a.m. on August 20, BorgWarner will present "NexTrac(R) FWD/AWD Coupling: from Development to Production," a technical presentation that provides an overview of the BorgWarner NexTrac(R) system launched this year in the Hyundai Santa Fe.

On August 22, BorgWarner will offer guests an exceptional opportunity at a unique test-track venue to experience the ways in which BorgWarner technologies enhance the driving experience. Demonstration vehicles will include a Hyundai Santa Fe with NexTrac(R) and a Cadillac CTS with ITM(R) Transfer Case. These systems are among the most advanced next-generation interactive technologies available as part of BorgWarner's active torque management portfolio focused on the needs of the expanding all-wheel drive market.

In addition, BorgWarner will showcase its NexTrac(R) and ITM(R) Transfer Case technologies through video and interactive displays at the symposium, and will sponsor the evening reception on August 20 at the Ann Arbor Marriott at Eagle Crest. For more details, visit www.sae.org/awd .
