Automakers Public Testing Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars - VIDEO STORY

LOS ANGELES - August 14, 2008: While hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are a few years away from mass production, testing has begun with some cars already visible on the road. One automaker, General Motors, has launched a test program – “Project Driveway” – in which they are loaning 100 Equinox Fuel Cell electric vehicles to select families throughout the country.

As part of the initiative, participating drivers are asked to provide feedback on the vehicle while simultaneously increasing public visibility of the car.
