RIVERSIDE, Calif., July 30 -- Fleetwood Enterprises' RV Group, a leading producer of recreational vehicles, announced the rollout of its 2009 Class A diesel line including Bounder Diesel, Expedition, Discovery, Excursion, and Providence, built on the all-new Power Bridge Chassis(TM).

The list of standard features on Power Bridge Chassis includes massive pass-through storage with side-swing luggage doors, a convenient patio storage center, and a centralized utility center. Optional features include exterior BBQ grill and kitchenette and sliding storage trays. The fresh water and fuel tank capacity were also increased to 105 and 100 gallons, respectively.

"There are a lot of exciting changes to our 2009 diesel line -- highlighted by the introduction of Power Bridge Chassis -- all of which are a direct result of the feedback we gathered from our customers and dealers," said Paul Eskritt, President of Fleetwood's RV Group. "We rely on this valuable feedback to guide our product planning and development process, and to inspire people to RV in a Fleetwood motor home."

Bounder Diesel, which was repositioned in model year 2009 to meet the growing demand for value-priced diesel motor homes, features a 30"-wide entry door, wider interior entry steps and a repositioned dash for easier access.

The 2009 Expedition offering includes a new full-wall-slide floor plan (38R), which features a large bedroom suite with 19" LCD TV, queen-size bed, full-size wardrobe, as well as a 32" LCD TV in the living room.

The 2009 Discovery offering includes a new curb-side full-wall-slide floor plan (40G) that features optional bunk beds with flip-down LCD TVs. The optional bunk area has all the makings of a second bedroom with separate bathroom access and privacy doors.

The 2009 Excursion and Providence offerings also include a new full-wall-slide floor plan (40T) that features a fully-appointed galley with tile backsplash highlighted by beautiful glass inlay, stylish solid wood face frame cabinetry with radius corners, pull-out cabinets for extra counter space and optional dishwasher. This new model also boasts a 32" LCD TV, Pioneer(R) radio with GPS navigation system, and gorgeous new horizontal window treatments.

Models built on Power Bridge Chassis feature Cummins(R) diesel engines (size and horsepower vary) and can tow up to 10,000 pounds.
