LONDON - July 23, 2008: For the first time ever BEN will be holding an Online Motorsport Auction on its stand. Some of the auction items for sale include: Tickets to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a Subaru Track Day at Castle Coombe, a Honda F1 Driver’s Suit signed by Rubens Barichello, a Williams F1 Race Suit worn and signed by Kazuki Nakajima and a huge selection of other memorabilia. By visiting the BEN stand individuals can see a full listing of the auction items available to purchase and can place an online bid there and then as there will be two computers available.

BEN will be holding two prize draws: one for a new Peugeot 107 Urban Move which has been kindly been donated by Peugeot; and the other for a new BMW K 1200 R motorcycle which has kindly been donated by BMW Motorrad UK. Tickets will be on sale for both national draws priced at £2 per ticket.

In acknowledging all the support given to BEN its Director of Fundraising and Communications, Charles Davis commented, “The British International Motor Show is a very important event for BEN, not only from a fundraising perspective but it also helps to increase awareness of our charity and build BEN’s profile within the industry. However, we would not be able to participate in such a high profile event without the generous support of IMIE the organisers and their partners for donating our stand, BMW and Peugeot for our national draw prizes and many of our corporate colleagues who donated prizes for our online auction.”
