WABCO Further Strengthens Global Management Team; Expands Leadership for Technology and Growth

BRUSSELS, July 15 -- WABCO Holdings Inc. , a global technology leader for commercial vehicles, today announced new executive appointments to further strengthen the company's senior leadership team and secure WABCO's continued ability to pioneer technology innovation, demonstrate industry leadership and consistently outperform market growth in every region of the world.

Kurt Lehmann joins WABCO as Vice President, Engineering and Product Development, responsible for leading WABCO's 800 engineers to develop and deploy new and improved products to meet the needs of the company's increasingly global customer base of nearly every major manufacturer of trucks, buses and trailers.

Lehmann comes to WABCO from Continental Corporation where he was Vice President, Systems Engineering, at Continental Automotive located in Frankfurt, Germany, responsible worldwide for development processes, system engineering and product development. Previously, Lehmann was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Continental's foundation braking systems division based in Michigan, U.S.A.

Christian Wiehen, who has 20 years of engineering experience with WABCO and since 2005 was Vice President, Product Development, becomes WABCO Chief Technology Officer. In this new position, Wiehen will play a key role in developing WABCO's long-term technology roadmap through consultation with customers, industry partners, research institutes and suppliers, as well as strengthening the company's relations with industry and regulatory bodies internationally.

Alfred Farha joins WABCO as Chief Legal Officer and Secretary. Prior to WABCO, Farha was General Counsel, Europe, at Flextronics, responsible globally for the legal affairs of its automotive business segment. Farha has gained uniquely diverse legal experience working at Cisco Systems, Unisys Corporation and with leading international law firms in Europe, North America, Japan and Latin America. Farha has law degrees from the University of Zurich and Harvard Law School. He was on the editorial board of the Harvard International Law Review.
