New York Joins Los Angeles and Growing List of Cities That Offer Commuters Free Mobile Traffic Advisory Service

Users enter their cell phone numbers to receive a text message with a link, which they click to receive the application. Users select roadside cameras from a simple, easy to use menu. Speed keys can also be designated on a mobile device for frequently visited locations.

The service is compatible with data-enabled phones on the Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile networks, as well as on BlackBerry, Palm Treo and Windows Mobile smart phones.
