SYDNEY – July 2, 2008: Audi has launched a new, highly-interactive website for Australia with the added feature of a fantastic new widget.

The Audi widget is downloadable and will update you with the latest news headlines from the Audi website, the weather forecast for any city in the world, up-to-date foreign exchange (FOREX) rates and the date and time.

The widget sits on your desktop once downloaded and streams information to keep you totally up-to-date on the brand’s activities.

Audi’s website at www.audi.com.au now boasts current information on all Audi models in Australia, along with useful links to Audi’s global website for those customers keen to know what’s happening worldwide.

From breaking news, to new models, from Audi’s environmental advancements, to Audi’s Ambassadors and dealership listings, the new site is user-friendly, fast and easy to navigate.

A major source of information for Audi customers, the new website is designed to provide Audi customers, and potential customers with updated information from the brand locally and globally.

Audi Australia’s General Manager – Marketing, Mr Immo Buschmann, says that Audi customers are extremely well-versed about their vehicle purchases and often use the internet and websites for this research.

“Our website is an important marketing tool. Not only can we communicate the latest product news, dealer listings and vehicle pricing, we can also keep our customers completely up-to-date with global initiatives affecting the brand, like green technology or future concept cars,” Mr Buschmann said.

“As an innovative brand, it’s also vitally important that we offer consumers a taste of the Audi Experience even through our website. Audi is an aspirational brand around the world and we want to ensure this is reflected in our Australian operations.”
