Two Lincolnshire MINI dealerships are rallying MINI adventurers together to join their famous annual convoys to the biggest celebration of the iconic car in England.

All MINI owners can join in the fun on Father's Day, Sunday 15th June, as the starter's flag drops at 10am at Astle MINI in Grimsby and Scunthorpe for the two processions to Normanby Hall's MINI Day.

Led by Astle MINI's own world-class Formula MINI racing driver, Andy Chapman, the famous convoys of classic and modern MINI vehicles are expected to be an impressive sight with over 45 owners choosing to take part last year.

Now in its third year, the MINI day is organised by Trent Valley MINI Owners Club to give owners countrywide the chance to see other MINIs and show off their own pride and joy.

Set within the North Lincolnshire country park, the event is also a great family day out with trade and club stands, craft stalls, children's entertainment and refreshments.

Astle MINI will also have a stand providing information on the latest offers along with MINI accessories and clothing. Some fantastic prizes will also be up for grabs to those daring enough to test their 'MINI' general knowledge.

Marie Hoodless, Group Marketing Controller at Astle MINI, said: "The MINI day is great way for everyone to celebrate the much-loved MINI and we are really looking forward to supporting the event again this year.

"The convoys just keep getting bigger and more popular, so we are really excited to see how many drivers will join our MINI adventure this summer."

Normanby Hall MINI Day will be on from 10am to 4pm. Entry costs £5 per car with the proceeds going to Macmillan cancer relief.

Everyone is welcome and any owner a classic or modern MINI looking to join the convoy should arrive at the Astle MINI showrooms before 10am.
