Ford Motor Co., Visteon veteran to help GPS develop automotive aftermarket channel

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., May 30 -- GuidePoint Systems, a leading national supplier of GPS-based stolen vehicle recovery services, today announced automotive aftermarket veteran Richard J. Zeichner as its new Vice President of Sales.

The Pontiac, Mich.-based telematics company said Zeichner will lead its efforts to expand sales in the automotive aftermarket. Zeichner brings nearly 20 years experience in sales and marketing, management, strategic planning and business development in the automotive industry. He joined Guidepoint from Atlanta-based Numerex Corp., following nearly a decade at Ford Motor Co. and Visteon Corp.
